Rodney Caston (sp?) aka Largo of MegaTokyo mentioned Angel Moxie in an old rant (if I'm remembering correctly...)
In any case, I came here from there, loved it, emailed Dan to tell him I loved it, then stuck around :P

There was a link on penny-arcade a while ago and that led me here. Luckily at that time i didn't have my spam blocker.

I came to Venis when it was linked on Mac Hall. Still remember the banner too. Had Caligraphy just standing there (she still hadn't been named at the time) with the words "Space Mercenaries, School Girls, and an Elf" (or something like that). I initially read Rebus, then touched Moxie (had something like 201 strips to date at that time) and browsed "I Eat People". Later returned to finish up the rest of Moxie, and been here ever since.

Originally saw it going to penny arcade. Checked out Angel Moxie, and it has stuck ever since.

I first found out about this site by following the link to www.venisproductions.com on Dan's mp3 page on the now defunct mp3.com. This was back in, say, I think December 2002 or something.

If I remember correctly, I clicked the link on my mp3.com page that said "other artists in this area", and it brought up "Dan Hess", so clickity-click, heard some of Dan's music, and found his site and subsequently his web comics. I've been reading Angel Moxie ever since! Additionally, his site also inspired me to begin publishing "2214" online.

Sensing a trend here... I found a link at Penny Arcade while surfing the web at school. Can't remember if i was finished with my work or doing that instead of my work, though...

And that started me on a long sad bit of reading webcomics, culminating in reading a ton of webcomics. Oh, and I started BrimZero somewhere in the middle of it all, but it's hard to get excited about that. AM was kinda my kick in the pants for putting my next project (BrimZero) online, a bit like Nitrocosm. Unlike Nitrocosm, that's about all I do. I think he's got a PhD in multitasking.

I just put in a web search for webcomics, followed an insane amount of links, and here I be! Back at, what, #100, I started reading. just recently started not hating message boards, though.
