The old Nintendo ROCKS!

You waste time playing games. Why not waste time talking about them too?

I was talking to a friend of mine the other day...he said he's found maybe five old working NES's at garage sales...he's made tons of money on them cuz I guess some people are stupid and don't know their worth (he buys them cheap, games and all)? Who knows, but I now want to check out more garage sales, that's for sure...

I picked up an NES at GameStop about a year ago, and have progressively picked up since then both Zelda games, Mario/Duck Hunt, Dragon Warrior, Joust, and Bayou Billy.

the NES was about $40. Now all I need is a Saturn and a Dreamcast and I'll be happy.

"collected" isn't the best term... I just kinda picked them up as I went along... the NES was the first console I bought with the intention of completing some kind of collection.

Brief history: got an SNES on my 7th B-day. Still have it. My brother gave me a Genises at one point. Still got that. I bought an N64 when I was 12. That's in my sister's room, but if I ever move out, it's coming with me. Got a GC about 6 months after launch, and picked up the NES last year.

So the official list is NES, SNES, Genises, N64, and GameCube.

Unless you count handhelds... my sister lost two GameBoy Colors (which were both actually mine) and now has a GameBoy Advance(the original model, not SP), and I've got my DS.

Got a snes when I was three,
N64 when I was like...10

Handhelds:
Totall of...
1 Big gameboy (broken)
1 Gameboy pocket (lost)
1 Gameboy color (stolen by my brother :P)
1 Gameboy advance SP (still got it)

Not pretty interesting >.>

When I was young I wanted to collect all the consols but I never got the money :(

Traitor.

I'll never forgive you for supporting the 3v!1 known as M!|<ro$0pht after listing that great series of Nintendo machines.

I wouldn't call him a traitor...

If nintendo made a better console, more people would buy the GC in stead of Xbox or PS2.
A lot of people hate the GC because: *highers his voice* "they make crappy games".*normal voice* So if nintendo would make a console wich more people would like, they don't have to buy a Xbox or PS2

me?

Yeah I like the GC better than the rest >.>

That's because the Gamecube is the best.

Outside of Halo, there really isn't anything on X-box you can't find a viable equivalent for on GameCube. I mean, I'd understand getting a PS2, but why an X-box? That's a sign of treachery, if you ask me.

I always like pointing out that fully half of my GameCube games simply can't be found on another console, and that of the remaining half, more than half of that couldn't be found on another console when I bought it, and of the remaining games, half is a piece of crap.

I still don't know why I bought Dave Mirra BMX 2. I've played it, maybe, twice.

My list:

NES (broken then lost)
SNES (lost or broken. don't remember but it's gone)
Play Station (original, not the small one)
XboX ($8 shipping and handling plus Rally Sport 2 brand new from Mt. Dew)

And Planning on

PS2 (in the near future)
NES (nothing can replace the clasic)
SNES (and any FF games I can pick up for it too)

Hah! I laugh in the face of your equipment. I have...... *drumroll* a laptop! And I used to have a gameboy, but it got broken when I was eleven. I've never managed to get into computer games, although I'd rather like to get a copy of the Sims. I liked Age of Empires and I play Tropico from time to time (the only game I own). It's pretty easy to see what sort of game I like.
Cynical, sarcastic - yup, that's me.

They say the X-box has great graphics.
A lot of people buy a console because the graphics are beautifull...
And I think because it is from microsoft.

Or they feel sorry for the X-box because it "totally sucks ass" :P so they buy it to support microsoft.
