The old Nintendo ROCKS!

You waste time playing games. Why not waste time talking about them too?

The old Nintendo ROCKS!

Is it just me, or does that little grey box that you insert cartridges into rock? I love the old Nintendo games, none of these fancy Gamecube re-dos of the classics. Sadly, I foolishly sold my Nintendo a long time ago, and now I no longer can play Mario Bros./Duck Hunt, Lolo, and Joust like I used to.

I believe that the ub3r 1337 entertainment value of the NES is a well established fact. So, no. It is not just you. Now go soak your head in a vat of spagetti for having sold your NES.

I never had one so I just have to do with emulatory goodness for my Nintendo fixes.

Still, at least I have finally made it into the third world in FFV.

Mine died many years ago. I only had Tetris though so I wasn't too miffed at its death.

I used to play this game...i totally forgot what it was called...it was like two kung fu guys, one white one red...

I only saw it one other place, at that big water park in wisconsin, they had an arcade version.

Oh and mario and zelda when they actually worked.

My favortie NES game is Legend of Zelda. I used to play it at my friends house, but I always seemed to lose my save :(

I finally got an NES of my own in college (I had a Commodore 64 when NES was big)...

I also really like

Castlevania II
Excitebike
Metroid
Pinbot
Punchout
Rygar
Super Mario Bros
Super Spy Hunter

NES had some of the best games ever made
they were original and many still hold up today, which can't be siad for many newer games. you play them for a couple weeks and never have to go back to them

Zelda is the best, yes. But what about Kirby, Burger Time, and I've heard Marble Madness is awesome. How did you find a working NES? Pawnshops or ebay?

yeah, i love the old grey box. Mine went kaput a couple of years ago :( . My favorite game had to be Zelda, but that was followed closely by the great game Blaster Master. those two sucked up the most of my time as a youth, besides reading.
