Yes, but the RPs aren't much different if you look at them closely. They're all really the same thing with different characters.

theres a difference, two words "character development."

i could care less about the actual story of an rpg, its how the character develops, grows, dies that makes rpgs great.

the best character development you get in a fps is

character before developing: "me shoots things."

character after developing: "ME SHOOTS MORE THINGS!!!1ONE!

My understanding is Composite is the standard single connector, or combined connector, and component is the seperated connector.

edit: hmmm so the reason i dont know who kyle katarn is, is because i hardly know anything about star wars.

ive seen a new hope twice, empire strikes back about 10 times, and return of the jedi once.

You cant watch a movie 10 times and not know something about it.

And even if you dont like star wars, its still possible to like dark forces. or dark forces 2.
