skool daze anyone?
Hehe, I feel your pain.
I have been playing video games for a long time and I cant realy pick one or two, but if you break it up by system that I have owned....
Pre Atari 2600:
Pong - My freind had an original Pong machine that we played for hours at a time (at least thats how I remember it) I managed to buy it off him after he got a Coleco Vision.
Atari 2600:
Chopper Command and River Raid - Activision kicked tail back then
Timex Sinclair 1000 (basicaly the same thing as the Sinclair ZX-81):
Frogger - who needs a good keyboard, sound, and color to have fun playing Frogger??
Comodore 64/128:
Spy Hunter - How can you not love playing that game?
Adventure Constructon Kit - this let you create your own games which was in a way more fun than playing them.
Turbo Graphx 16:
Bonk - the only problem was you could not save your progress, no codes no saveing to the system memory nothing. So if you had to stop playing like for dinner or something you had to pause the game and leave the system on, or you started over at the beginning. Mine was on for 4 days once just so I could beat the final boss.
Exile - The first CD based game I owned. The game was huge and had incredably long cut scenes for the time. Plus the cut scenes had spoken dialog which was unheard of for a home console.
GameBoy:
Metroid II
Donky Kong Land - not the GBColor or GBA port of Contry.
Genesis:
Nothing realy stands out in my memory for this system, I know there was something but I cant remember what.
Super Nintendo: I never owned one but a couple of roommates had one in college.
Super Metroid - hands down one of the greatest platform/adventure games ever made.
Atari Jaguar:
Rayman - one of the hardest most frustrating games I have ever played but because of that one of the most rewarding.
Tempest 2000 - Some times the simplest game Ideas are the most fun.
Nintendo 64:
Mario 64 and Zelda - ocarana of time
With GoldenEye right behind them.
GameBoy Advance:
Golden Sun
Metroid Fusion - can you tell I like the Metroid series?
GameCube:
Metroid Prime - I need to play Super Metroid again to say wich one is better but its close.
PC/Mac:
The Descent Series
