Ohio Conspiracy

Yeah, it's a large state. And a diverse state. It's part-northeast, part-rust belt, part-Appalachia. It once had a war against Michigan.

But that's not what's wrong with Ohio. No. There's a big problem in Ohio, and that problem is the naming of their cities. Too many goddamn cities start with C. I mean, look at their three biggest cities: Columbus, Cleveland, and Canton. What the hell? Someone had to have planned that. It's not something you'd leave up to chance.

So don't trust Ohioans. They're in on the conspiracy. I'll bet one or two will come in here and say I'm being ridiculous, and maybe even argue my most basic premise. Don't believe them. They're part of the conspira-C.

We've got bigger cities than Canton. Akron, Dayton, Toledo... but yes our three biggest cities begin with a C. Columbus, Cleveland and Cincinnati. It's less conspiracy, more coincidence, possibly laziness. The bigger conspiracy is from the "southern values" camp, trying to make us into a conservative southern state. Columbus and Cleveland try to fight the good fight, but Cincinnati is already lost, alas. At least we have good ice cream.
