(This topic go's along with my Abridged series Topic. Also thought that this would answer the same question for others as well.)

How do you pronouce all the Japanise soundiong names in AM? Vashi, Shugari, Tsutsumu,ECT, And ESPECHALY Lord Yzin.

Is the Y silent? Is the Z silent? Do you pronouce it entirely differently?

You see how confuseing it is?

Japanese words are actually quite easy to pronounce. They're pretty much spelled the way they sound (at least in romaji).

Of course, Yzin isn't really Japanese at all.

Shugari is more english sugar with a ri on the end.

Tsutsumu is kinda fun. Easy enough to say but kind of hard to describe if you don't know how to say Tsu. But take a guess, we'll let you know if you do it wrong.

Me, I'm just kinda excited to see what you sound like, and I'm curious to find out how skilled you are at voice acting.

I usually pronounce Yzin as ee-ZIN. I usually put the emphasis on the second syllable of Shugari, which I know isn't the Japanese way, but the pun sounds less obvious.

However, as this is a comic book, the reader is allowed to decide how to pronounce stuff.

Well, as soon as I get the OK to put this on Youtube, You'll hear me. I'm doing the voice of Charly, Riely, the History teacher, and Vashi.

Heh. That gave me a thought. Ms. Conk as done by GLaDOS: "Hello, and welcome to the enrichment center!"

As for pronunciations:
I know I do Tsutsumu wrong, but I can't help but read 'too-tsoo-moo' (dropping the 's' on the first syllable)
Vashi as 'va-shee'
Yzin as 'yih-zin'
Shugari as 'shoo-gahr-ee'

I don't know if that's such a good idea.

It's an abridged series. It's not supposed to be a good idea. It's supposed to be a funny idea.

I think it could be humorous if pulled off right. I picture her image of "If anybody else falls asleep in my class they shall be soundly thrashed." set to "Good morning, Infidels."

As for "Hello, and welcome to the enrichment center!", that'd have to be reserved for Ms. Conk Mk. II if used at all.
