Doppler, I point you to any of the Simpsons branded games, the Cho Aniki series, "Mario's Time Machine" and "Mario is Missing." (Though I can't verify the availability of any of those in cart format. I would never break the law, but if I had played any of those games, it would have been via the ZSNES emulator. However, had I downloaded Yoshi's Island, Super Mario World, and Super Mario Allstars, I would have loved them. But I don't download ROMs as it's of dubious legality.

)
And I would point out that the GC, 360, X-Box Controller S and (to a lesser extent) original X-Box controller are all derivatives of the Dual Shock with the d-pad and left analog idiotically switched. But the dual shock kinda mimics the N64 controller, which is itself kinda like the original PSX controller with a third handle for the analog stick. (I'm just guessing here as I don't care enough to look up the dates.) And the original PSX controller is basically the SNES controller with those wonderful ergonomic handles and a second pair of triggers.
That said, as much as the original X-Box controller resembles the N64 / Gamecube controllers, there's a reason the Controller S and the 360 controller are as close as patents will allow them to get to the Dual Shock.
