Well, I'm about... 90% sure that she's a girl, what with her crush on Denki and all... well that her 'player-character' is a girl.

As to whether or not the person who Loure is (does that make sense?) is female, I'd say that's about... I'm 70% sure, about that.

Well as mmo games go, girls don't necessarily mean they are girls, especially with the number of them in ROI. Although I'm sure they are, since it's Dan's story and that would be really weird.

With Loure, given Loure has a crush on Denki, she's really the last female avatar should suspect of having a male behind it (except maybe Kali and her mom).

When I think about it, it makes perfect sense.

In fact it's probably something I would do if I played one of those games. I mean, if you're gonna play as a character, you're gonna spend most of your time looking at it...Wouldn't you rather look at something cute rather than some ugly gimly-lookin' dwarf?

Loure is now the most sympathetic and unique characters of any webcomic I read.

Since he has a bit of a crush on Denki, possibly.

That's the one thing that makes him a little different than, say, me who likes playing girl characters cuz they're nicer to look at. And more fun to dress up.

On the other hand, with just how much of a bastard his real brother his, it'd be easy to see Denki as a savior.

Well, I suppose "Loure" could be gay. Or bisexual, transgendered, etc.

But perhaps it is just an RP thing. Thinking about it (and this goes in a similar vein as mentioned earlier in the post), it's not really so strange for Loure to light up when Denki offered up an item -- rather, Denki is the respectable "older brother" than Loure doesn't have and finally could look up to an admire.

Props to Dan for pulling off a plot twist that reflects a major truth of the Internet and online gaming. I'm interested in seeing how Dan will make this matter unfold.

Come to think of it, Denki may be to Loure what Arishiko's unnamed savoir was to her. That is, a sort of savoir/hero type figure.

But definatly, definatly a better person than her... well, I guess now I mean, his brother.
