I was disappointed that this chapter was so short. Did you get bored of the plot halfway through or what? ^_^

Oh, no - I had actually planned for this chapter to be 11 pages, but ran over.

See, the method to my madness is to end up with 105 pages each year to compile into a book. I wanted to have the last two chapters have the traditional 24 pages each, but with this chapter running a little long, I had to try to fit everything in into 44 pages total.

As it stands right now, chapter 20 will be 21 pages and chapter 21 will be 23 pages. Unless I completely rewrite a part of it again (hence the interstitial this past Saturday).

It was amusing how Tabitabi just annihilated Tai Shin instead of the whole, "Hang in there, <Pokemon Name>! We can come back from the brink of defeat!" sort of thing happening. Especially since she annihilated him with a goggles-wearing squirrel.

You know, I thought it was just my imagination when Von Faxon first appeared in the comic, but now that I see such a large illustration of him... His eyes look seriously weary.

Is he supposed to be playing an ailing swordsman sort of character, I wonder? Or maybe he's a chronic insomniac who games most of the night after work? Mysteries...

One of the things established early in the chapter was that Tai Shin's pet (supposedly) would have defeated Tabitabi's in one hit, so it was sort of a given such a thing couldn't happen, save for a plot twist where the squirrel keeps from sustaining the full 5 points of damage in a given hit.
