Well
you got that one, no sense beating the point to death

I wasn't paying much attention so you got there first, then I noticed the mentions of my fave stuffs (Anime and Manga) ^^
Wait a minute... did you mean a UK anime club, or some sort of national organization?
It's THE UK Anime Club.
It's owned by MVM, the UK's own anime label and mail order company, they've brought out some beautiful work here, ROD TV, Samurai Champloo, Fruits Basket, Lain, quite a few more.
We're tied in with MVM's mail order distribution, so you join the club you can get news, special offers, discounts, and you also get a members only magazine and website and forum.
It's the latter part I'm involved in, I'm Admin for the forums, Editor on the Mag and some breed of webmaster/editor on the site.
Because of the long distance factor we've got members all over the place, from Cornwall to Dundee, so we are pretty well spread out ^^
There are of course dozens and dozens of regular anime clubs and societies dotted about the country, from the many based out of our Unis to ones that have regular meets in public venues (The London Anime Club takes over a large pub once a month, they've had over 200 attendees before now and have a cap of about 350 - 400 ^^)
We also have anime groups like the Midlands Anime Group who have a hand in vast tracts of stuff and set up cons and things.
The UAC though is the only long distance club here to my knowledge and we have loads more reach and many more members than any of the regular clubs simply by our nature. Also we're going to have a crack at fostering a few more of these smaller outfits to help the scene grow and improve, that's not particularly relevant but it's pretty cool so worth mentioning ^^
It's impressive enough that your club has a side other than the members' one. (Although who do you have in the UK besides fans? Even the dub VA's tend to be American, don't they?)
The UK scene
is heavily fan based, we have our own cons, our own
proper anime mag (NEO), our own distributor in MVM and so on...
However we also have VAs, an upcoming anime feature was dubbed in London recently (which I can't go into details on as it's not my info to pass, if you take my meaning ^^) we also have Sweatdrop Studios who produce Manga by UK artists and publish it here via Otaku publishing, it gets great circulation around our cons as it happens.
Yes, we have rather a lot going on now I think about it ^_^
‘Look, I don’t care what you say; I am not putting my hand in there. If I’ve learned anything in 21 years on this rock it’s not to jam my hands into strange drawers.’
‘It’s only a sock draw’
‘All the more reason not to!'
