Hoo boy. The "some kid thought it was real and did something stupid" argument.
Look, if you want a more PC version of Tails' response: if there are kids who can't discern between fiction and reality, this is either a reflection on their age or a sad fact about their medical condition, not a reflection on whatever fiction they watched/read/played. So I don't know why you brought it up to begin with.
Also, it's funny that you think that because someone did something stupid, he must be retarded. Perfectly intelligent people with no disabilities do really incredibly stupid stuff every day, like arguing on the internet. Kids aren't immune from human nature. If what "you think you read" actualy happened, which I doubt, I bet they were just average kids who got caught up in some game they were playing.
