*shrugs* Well, maybe everyone else should have known. I'm new, I don't know you from Adam. I'll remember in the future.
I'll point out, though that three different veterans thought you were serious. This sounds like one of those things where people don't realize you're kidding because they can't hear your tone of voice when you're typing. Maybe you could make it clearer when you tell jokes like that, like a little note at the bottom saying "kidding" or "sarcasm" or something.
By the way, while we're listing pet peeves. I agree that hateful bigots are horrible people, but I really don't like it when people say "burn in hell." Not to put too fine a point on it, but it's kinda blasphemous. You probably weren't serious about that part - I think all you meant was that you wanted bad and painful things to happen to bigots, and the hell part was a joke - but just a heads up.
