In other words, saying something mean to start an argument. You did that. You also insulted Tails, and he was offended, and you haven't apologized.

Now, first things first, if he DID mean that those kids should have died, then yes, I mean what I said, and he should burn.

IF it was a joke, then no, I did not mean what I said, and tails would be unharmed. And I would apologize.

Do you really think he was serious? I'm a newbie, but presumably you know the guy - is he the kind of person who thinks kids should die? 'Cause if you did think he was serious, you weren't "just joking," you were flaming him. Which is also, by the way, not cool. There are better ways to express moral indignation. Notice how he completely ignored you the moment you started insulting him? And notice how you and I are in an actual conversation, in which I might in theory convince you that I'm right?

I'll point out, though that three different veterans thought you were serious. This sounds like one of those things where people don't realize you're kidding because they can't hear your tone of voice when you're typing. Maybe you could make it clearer when you tell jokes like that, like a little note at the bottom saying "kidding" or "sarcasm" or something.

By the way, while we're listing pet peeves. I agree that hateful bigots are horrible people, but I really don't like it when people say "burn in hell." Not to put too fine a point on it, but it's kinda blasphemous. You probably weren't serious about that part - I think all you meant was that you wanted bad and painful things to happen to bigots, and the hell part was a joke - but just a heads up.

Well, most gods don't send anyone to hell - hell is kind of a Christian thing. But I know what you mean.

The Muslims stole it from us - Islam broke off from Christianity in much the same way that Christianity broke off from Judaism. As for Judaism - I don't remember ever hearing about hell from a Jew, or reading about it in the first four books, but you could be right. Anyway, though, they're all three the same god, so we've still got one diety that sends people to hell and all the rest that don't.
