The old Nintendo ROCKS!

You waste time playing games. Why not waste time talking about them too?

Ahh yes, wavebirds. I shall be getting them too methinks. I have too many wires running around me room as it is, hehe (not only consoles but a computer with lots of extra stuff plugged into the USB ports as well as a hifi system and tv and numourus lights, funny thing is I only have one plug socket for all of that, can you say extention cables?).

Well, that's a pretty good list. It's almost as good as my freinds. He pretty much has all those plus the
Virtual boy
Neo Geo Pocket Color
xbox
and a few others I am not sure of the names for, like the add ons for the genisis. all of the add ons.

And the wavebird is a cool idea, cept no rumble feature. :(

Yayee!!!! :D

I too am a big fan of the wavebird. Best wireless controller made. Once I bought one, I could never go back. It is great! And I don't like the whole which console is better debate much. As I stated, i am on the path to accumulate all three of the "big" machines, each for their individual great games.

Firstly there are unique games on there (one of the reasons why I'm getting it) however the controller (this is a personal opinion by the way) is a pain in the backside. I played SSX Tricky on there and hated it. I was forever accidently hitting the reset button and messing up my jumps due to it

Hmmm, really? One of the things I like best about the Cube is the controller. The buttons are all configured to be findable by feel. I love that! It's one of the things that drives me crazy about the PS/PS2 controllers, particularly for minigames.

And yes ... Wavebird ... mmmm.

Out of curiosity, what is the reset button on SSX Tricky? Sounds to me like maybe the game had a chunk of bad design where the reset button was the Z button or something. *looks at her Wavebird*

And really, even with the new "Type S" controllers, the Xbox one still sucks the most. They just can't seem to find a natural place for the black and white buttons and still can't figure out correct sizing. :(

PG-13 breech on comic 2! :P

Ya, its true though. Initially, the controllers were so stupid. I swear they didn't test it prior to launch :D

thanks, fish, those were choice!!!

ah, yes, the infamous black and white buttons. Does anyone else here always hit the flaslight in halo 2 when they are trying to change to sticky grenades? man, they'll never find a good place for those buttons

The only console my parents let me get was the Atari 2600, which had some cool games, such as the best console port of "Moon Patrol" (though the arcade version was better.) However, they let me emulate anything I could, just not own it. (Go fig.)
I loved that first Penny Arcade link. Although there are a few XBox-exclusive games that are reputed to be good, I cannot stand even the new smaller controllers (which are still WAY too big,) and the graphics on most XBox games seem rather crummy in comparison with PS2 or GC versions.
I used to play my friends' NES a lot, and I play NES emulator quite a bit too. A lot of the "classics" are very good, though I don't really know what people see in Metroid. But what I think a lot of people missed out on was the wide variety of obscure, often-cheesy games out there.
Also, I simply love the SNES. It has some of the greatest RPGs of all time on it, and even more when you get fantranslations of Japanese games, like the Ranma 1/2 RPG, which, although a little too easy, is a great game.

I cannot agree more. the final fantasy games released on it are the greatest, and one of my absolute favorites is still "The Secret of Mana."
Great game!!!

The Seiken Densetsu series (Final Fantasy Adventure, Secret of Mana, SD3) is the only action-RPG I like besides Zelda and Morrowind.

Ah, I can say those are near the top of my list. Had to give up on Morrowind, though. I took to long to level, and the game was too long for the time I had available. Maybe I'll pick it up again, sometime.

LEGEND of Mana!

OK, so I haven't played Secret. But Legend is my most favorite game ever, no joke. :D

Secret is totally on par with legend, and most I know say Secret is still the best in the Mana series.

I've never played Legend of Mana. I would say that Secret of Mana and Seiken Densetsu 3 tie for "best in series," depending on what you're looking for. Secret has faster, more fluid gameplay, but SD3 has nicer graphics and music and more character development (I always thought SoM's characters were a little generic.)
