Hikaru no Go

So, I'm currently in the middle of watching this anime series. Its about a boy who finds a go board in his grandfathers attic. It turns out that the Go board has the spirit of an ancient go master in it, who no kinda haunts Hikaru, and convinces him to play some people at go. Hikaru becomes interested in learning it on his own, and starts down the road to becoming a pro. Its been a good series so far, and I'd recommend it to anyone who likes watching anime.

I am always amazed at how anime can take stuff, like a board game(Hikaru no Go), a sport(Prince of Tennis), or a card game(Yu-Gi-OH), and make it seem exciting.

I read the manga ages and ages ago, and it was fantastic! I do urge you to check it out if you get the chance.

Hmm... I've never seen the anime actually, I gotta go check it out now.

I've tried to watch the anime several times, but just never got that far. The manga on the other hand, I've read through more than a dozen times. Maybe it's because I'm so familiar with the story, the anime just can't move fast enough to hold my attention.

Hmm, now I feel like reading it again...
