BOOKS!

Postby Dan » Mon Apr 17, 2006 11:09 pm

Ishikaze has books, now.

110 pages each of full-color goodness, at only $24.95. Can't beat that with a stick.

More info and such can be found here.

Order now! Operators are standing by (flinging pencils at the ceiling tile and wishing they could go home)!

Woah, way less expensive than I thought with full-color.

Snazzy. 8)

Just ordered a few minutes ago.

That'll get those lazy pencil-flingers busy for a few minutes...

The books are awesome. I love them, my wife is jealous that I'm spending all of my time with them. I think I prefer the luminosity of the screen versions since I'm used to them after so many years. (I'm used to them glowing more, but I guess I'd be asking too much from paper to expect that sort of... glow I suppose. Paper just doesn't do that. ;))

Still, I love having them in book form so I can take them with me and show them to everyone I know. You should send a copy to Borders Bookstore's main office in Ann Arbor to see if they'd be willing to carry them in their stores. They have a page just for that sort of thing.

Awesome Dan, keep up the good work.

=)

psst! DAN! I see there are new books to be consumed. Any chance of there being a Dan Hess/Venis Productions boxed set?

Or the ability to procure the Ishikaze books through the Venis store? I'm just more interested in supporting YOU than Wirepop...

All the profits from the Ishikaze books go to me, not to Wirepop. So, please, by all means, feel free to buy some books!

Sadly, probably not. Lulu doesn't offer any sort of thing like that, and I'm not making enough money off them to feel good about doing a big discount. :(

Well now that I'm settled I'm planning on picking them up. I"d be happy to buy them directly from YOU if that would help you get a bigger cut. Sorry to hear they aren't doing better. THe art continues to be fabulous and I love the story line.

I get the same cut whether you get them through the links on Wirepop.com or directly from Lulu.com. You could send me a check directly, but then I'd only turn right around and order the books from Lulu myself, then have to ship them myself right to you. All in all, I'd still get the same cut.

The only other option is to come see me at a convention. They're still the same price, I still get the same cut, but you'd save on shipping, plus get a little doodle on the inside cover.
