Okay just had a thought.

Maybe it's a terrible thought.

What if WE wrote the sequel to Angel Moxie?

It'd either be so good that Dan!'s like 'okay, now I have to draw it.' Or, it'll be so bad that Dan!'s like 'Stop! Stop! I'll do it myself, just stop!'

It could be just crazy enough to work.

Ok. so what've we got? I seem to remember from another thread someone mentioning the girls should be finishing up college by now, if the AM world progressed at the same pace as this world.

That's if they go to College at all. with the Corporation funding their... lives, they'd be pretty well set without post-secondary education. What's keeping them from being their world's Mary-Kate and Ashley Olson?

... true, but they're worth something along the lines of a billion each, going through *highschool*. I believe we all know how formative *those* years can be... and how many friends from middle school have we all managed to keep in touch with (being fb friends doesn't count: how many do you still talk to regularly?)

and I can't say I speak to many either.

So I think that's a place to start. We'd have to recap what's happened since lord Yzin's fall. I think it's pretty well a given (from my personal experience and annecdotally from other's experiences) that people who go through stressful circumstances stay in touch and remain friends, regardless of distance or time. I should think the bonds formed over defeating an inter-dimentional evil on behalf of the Higher Authority would be described as stressful by any definition.

which brings us to: what've the girls been up to, and what is the threat of this next story? where is the conflict that drives them? (perhaps the lack of conflict in their recent past might serve as an explanation on why they haven't 'gone as far' or succeeded as much as one might have expected?)

So if they were in real time. They would have either just graduated from a four year program if they went to college, or be struggling to get into grad school, or be struggling to finish their bachelors degree.

Or they would be floundering in community college eternally unsure of themselves.

Depending on what the majored in they would be either be living the high life (working at a tech start up in San Francisco) or toiling at some sort of retail hell.

Alex would totally be like a marketing, or business major, may communications.

Riley would be at a tech start up or maybe even google/apple etc.

and Tristen would probably have been a psych major, or maybe philosophy.

I think Alex would have a serious boyfriend and maybe be engaged.

Riley is probably to busy with work and being a awesome techy person to really pay attention to boys, I feel like she would have discovered things like burning man and be super well adjusted and happy with herself.

and Tristen may be so focused on school and furthering her education that she hasn't dated.

I don't know if they would have stayed in the same social circles in high school because of the way that the social dynamics change when you leave middle school. but that doesn't mean that they didn't stay friends, or didn't always choose to work together on group projects (because they knew they could trust each other and were a good team)

As far as those relationships surviving college and that separation goes, despite the fact that I don't talk to a lot of people from high school very often; The ones that I do keep in touch with, I love talking to and wish that I could see more.

Where does the drama come from? the intrigue?

How could Alex leave her Man and her comfortable new happy life to save the world? will he still love her if he finds out that she is a total world saving bad ass?

Riley has landed the job of her dreams at (x company), how is she going to balance saving the world with coding for iOS (or something)? will her boss notice that she isn't always at work when she needs to be?

And How can Tristen come to terms with herself and her philosophical outlook on destruction while still saving the planet?

All this and more will be foretold in: 'Angel Moxie Comes of Age' (good title? I have no idea)

Reunion tour! :D

a pesky documentary-maker tries to get to the bottom of how 3 young women came to be the chairs of Tsutsumu Corp; interviewing various people from the year(s) where so much went weird in the world, and mysterious towers grew over-night and disappeared just as quickly a few weeks/months later.

Bonus points if the documentary filmmaker is an evil pawn who's trying to resurrect an ancient evil that the girls have to thwart.
